Freiburg, October 23, 2026 - Haufe Group has once again been awarded the "MobilSiegel", presented by Freiburger Verkehrs-AG (VAG) on behalf of the city of Freiburg and in cooperation with the districts of Emmendingen and Breisgau Hochschwarzwald. The award recognizes companies that stand out through exemplary measures to promote climate-friendly mobility.
Haufe Group has once again been awarded the "MobilSiegel", presented by Freiburger Verkehrs-AG (VAG) on behalf of the city of Freiburg and in cooperation with the districts of Emmendingen and Breisgau Hochschwarzwald. The award recognizes companies that stand out through exemplary measures to promote climate-friendly mobility. At the official award ceremony on October 21, 2026, the group received the award alongside 20 other companies and organizations from the region. For Haufe Group, this is already the second award after 2023.
The Freiburg-based family-owned company offers a range of mobility options that give its approximately 2,700 employees real choices for their daily work lives. These include subsidies for public transport use, company bike leasing through JobRad and EV and e-bike charging stations at its Freiburg headquarters. These offers are supplemented by a largely electrified vehicle fleet, cycling awareness days, and regular participation in the Stadtradeln cycling campaign. A recent addition is the FINN | JobAuto program for electric vehicles: the flexible subscription model gives employees an attractive entry into electric mobility without any purchase risk.
"Our goal is to make sustainable decisions easier in everyday life without losing sight of different realities of our employees life. With that commitment, we will continue to consistently develop our mobility offerings moving forward," said Joole Bredehöft, Corporate Sustainability Manager at Haufe Group, who accepted the award at the ceremony.
Mobility is a key lever for Haufe Group on its path to net zero: emissions from business travel and employees' daily commutes account for a significant share of the company‘s overall carbon footprint. Since 2019, these emissions have already been reduced substantially.

The MobilSiegel is awarded by Freiburger Verkehrs-AG on behalf of the City of Freiburg, in cooperation with the districts of Emmendingen and Breisgau-Hochschwarzwald as well as the Regio Verkehrsverbund. The award recognizes companies that distinguish themselves through exemplary measures to promote sustainable mobility — such as converting their fleet to non-fossil fuels, supporting the use of public transportation for business and commuting purposes, or providing attractive infrastructure for employees who commute by bicycle. Recertification is available every three years.
