Mobility

How is sustainable mobility gaining momentum?

With options and freedom of choice.

Sustainable mobility can look different for everyone. That is why we create options that fit different realities of life. Be it by bicycle, public transportation, or electric car: We support our employees in making more conscientious and low-emission travel choices in their day-to-day lives. This is also confirmed by the City of Freiburg’s “Mobilsiegel” (mobilityseal). Since 2019, we have already reduced the emissions of our commuting employees by 58% through very specific incentives.

The following three examples illustrate the choices our employees make in their everyday lives; each choosing the mode of transportation that works best for them. Together, we are on the path to net zero.

BICYCLE

OUR
CONTRIBUTION

Bicycle

  • Through a company bike leasing program, cycling events such as the Haufe Group Bike Days and regular participation in the “Stadtradeln” (City Cycling event), we inspire our employees to take up cycling.
  • Repair and charging stations right on the Freiburg campus make biking everyday hassle-free—no detours nor extra effort required.

OUR
CONTRIBUTION

Public transit

  • We support the use of public transportation by providing a monthly subsidy of 20 euros toward public transportation.
  • Our campus is well connected to Freiburg’s public transportation system via a streetcar line, twobus stops, and a bike-sharing program.
  • As a result, about 20% of our employees use public transportation for their commute.

ELECTRIC
CARS

„We need to offer solutions that make life easier, not more difficult.“

OUR
CONTRIBUTION

Electric cars

  • Electric cars already make up more than 50% of our fleet.
  • At our Freiburg location, we offer 28 charging stations for electric cars.
  • With FINN JobAuto, we offer our employees an attractive opportunity to switch to an electric car through a subscription model – without having to commit to a vehicle long-term.

Many paths, one common goal. That is exactly what sets us apart at Haufe Group.

Sustainable mobility does not start with a single mode of transportation. But rather with the option to make the right choice.

This is how we reduce emissions together—step by step on the path to net zero.
